Digital Hive is looking for a Data Analyst in PowerBI.

Expectations  

As a PowerBI Data Analyst at Digital Hive, we expect you to excel in visualizing and analysing data to drive business decisions. You should be proficient in utilizing PowerBI to create insightful, interactive dashboards and reports. Your toolkit should include advanced skills in DAX for data modelling, as well as proficiency in SQL for data manipulation.

Your role will require a meticulous analytical approach to decipher complex data and present it in a straightforward and impactful manner. We expect a collaborative spirit capable of working in agile environments, using tools like Jira and Confluence to manage projects and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving skills will be essential to successfully expand and enhance our data-driven projects. Your ability to communicate complex analytical results clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders will be key in driving the success of our projects. We value quick learners and flexible professionals who are ready to adapt to the changing dynamics of a global business environment.

• An analytical thinker that works closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide BI solutions for their decision-making. 

• A hands-on problem solver with a great capacity to design & develop dashboards to communicate trends, patterns & predictions using relevant data.  

• The ability to zoom out and consider the bigger picture.   

• A professional that communicates clearly and effectively with customers (Honesty & transparency are cornerstones of this). 

• Ability to use DAX, Power Query, and SQL to extract, transform, and load data into a form suitable for reporting and analysis. 

• Superb Team Player with a focus on delivering value. 

• Collaborator between IT and data teams to integrate PowerBI solutions into business systems. 

• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and advancements in BI technologies. 

 

What we expect from you

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 

• Proven expertise in Microsoft PowerBI and other BI tools. 

• Strong knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing and data architecture. 

• Proficient in SQL and familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R is a plus. 

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. 

• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information in an understandable manner. 

• Excellent business English.  

 

How you can stand out from the crowd

• Proficiency in additional BI tools such as Tableau or Qlik. 

• Proven track record in managing and synthesizing data from multiple business units. 

• Involvement in strategic data planning and policy development.
