AI needs a
physical layer
The first wave of AI focused on automating knowledge. The next wave is physical. We are investing early in humanoids and robotics. Not because robots are cool, but because it is the logical step after AI software.

Only as good as
its data
From day one Digital Hive set out to be a technological innovator. Coming from a data & AI foundation, the physical layer is the next step: a humanoid depends on exactly the domains we already build for our clients every day.
- Data pipelines
- Machine learning
- Real-time decision systems
- Cloud infrastructure
- Digital twins
- Automation
Our focus on AI-ready data and modern data architectures connects directly to what future robotics solutions need.

Robots in the field,
August 2026
At a Voka workshop on our farm in Lummen, Flemish agriculture minister Jo Brouns drove our robot through an exoskeleton. We showed drones that map fields and pinpoint weeds, a robot that pulls water hyacinth by hand, and what fruit picking could look like. Less spraying, more targeted decisions, and a first step towards the partnerships with universities and companies we are looking for.

Our stance
Co-existence,
not replacement
Humanoids are too often positioned to serve humanity by filling labour shortages. We look at it differently, and we believe that difference is what will make adoption actually succeed.
Human & humanoid
We build for co-existence between people and machines. Investing in co-existence accelerates adoption; without it, robotics stalls.
Societal purpose
Robotics with meaning: agricultural innovation and our Study Buddy programme show what a socially useful humanoid can be.
Open platform
We deliberately choose humanoids and robotics on open platforms, so we stay free to build our own ideas into them.
